Munan smiled again as he reached the end of the path and the edge of Vardamir. "I think I shall be staying away from forests and mountains for some time" He said softly to himself and looked around the town. "Excuse me sir, but could you possibly tell me where i could find the inns of this town?" Munan asked as a human walked past him. "Na, but i can tell you i don't give a damn what you want unless you want to buy something from this shop" The human replied pointing to a nearby shop. "Sorry sir, I'm only interested in finding an inn, then discovering what has happened to my fellow adventurers" Munan replied calmly despite the humans disgusted face and threat in his voice. "I couldn't help but overhear you're an adventurer looking for an inn" A voice said calmly as a female dwarf walked to wards Munan. "I can't help you out with the inn, but I'm staying here right now at my brothers home. I'm sure he'd be willing to let you stay for free if you and your friends could bring back the family heirloom he was given" "Thank you miss..." Munan began before the dwarf interupted "Please just call me Iblin. My brothers name is Gloin" Iblin said as she looked ay Munan. "Well, Iblin, I am Munan. I thank you kindly for your offer. If you are sure that your brother, Gloin, would gladly let me saty in return for the small fee of bringing back his family heirloom" Munan answered. "I'm sure he would. Now follow me" Iblin said as she led Munan towards Gloin's home.

"Gloin" Iblin called as she walked inside the door of her brothers home. "Gloin" "No need to yell, what do ya want" Gloin replied as a dwarven male appeared in front of them. "I have Munan here, he's an adventurer, and i said you'd let him saty here if he brought back the greataxe" Iblin answered her brother as she pointed to Munan. "Aye, and i will. But if tha greataxe isn't returned, i expect a paymen" Gloin replied as he headed back into another room in the house. "Ye can show yer friend ta tha guest room" Gloin added as he pointed up the stairs. "Yes" Iblin replied to her brother before turning to Munan. "Come on, it's quite small by the way" "Well, i don't mind. It's kind enough of your brother to let me stay, i would not expect a big room for my stay" Munan answered as he followed Iblin up the stairs. "It's through that door there. Make your self at home and either me or Gloin will call you when dinner is ready" Iblin said with a smile as she pointed to a door. "Thank you kindly" Munan replied as Iblin walked back down the stairs. Munan opened the door and walked inside the room. There was a singel bed against the east wall and a window at the north wall. Against the west wall there was a small chest of drawers and there was a thick rug on the bare floor beside the bed.

Munan placed his greataxe down beside the drawers and his handaxe was soon placed beside it. He removed his armour and placed it down beside his weapons and sat down on the bed, gazing out of the window at the streets below. About half an hour passed and soon Munan heard a voice calling up the stairs. "Yer foods redy" Gloin called as Munan heard footsteps going back into another room. Munan got up from the bed and walked out of the room, closing the door behind him. He headed down the stairs and saw what room they were sat in. In the center of the room was a table, four chairs where around it, and three plates of food were on the table. "Sit down then Munan" Iblin smiled as she pointed to the empty chair with a plate of food in front of it. "Thank you, the food looks great" Munan said as he smiled back slightly and sat down on the chair. "Ye be welcome fellow dwarf, but ye'd best eat it fore the cold gets it" Gloin replied as he began to eat the food on his plate. Munan nodded politly as he picked up his knife and fork and began to eat the meal.

Munan finished the meal and waited to be excused from the table, like a young child wanting to go back outside and play with his friends as they pretended to be brave adventurers. Though all Munan wanted to do was get back upstairs, wash if he was allowed and then sleep. "Well less ye wanna join me at tha tavern, ye can go do wat ye want. If ye wanna wash, o bath theres tha washroom next ta yer room" Gloin explained as he gathered together the plates and took them into the kitchen. "Thank you for the offer, Gloin, but I think I'd much rather have an early night, especially after two times of nearly being crushed" Munan replied politely as he helped clear the table. "Alrigh, well its yer choice, mind me askin wat happened ta ye?" Gloin asked "Not at all, I'm suprised someone is actually interested in something that has happened to me" Munan replied "Well adventurers lead amazing lives, I'd love to learn about things that have happened to them" Iblin answered, speaking for the first time in a while. "Well, I'm not as good as telling tales of what has happened as a bard is, after all I'm only a paladin, but i shall try my best" Munan warned them as they all sat back down in their chairs.

"Well my adventure started off here, in Vardamir, where I met two people, a half-elf monk, Ravenesence, and a centaur druid, Ember. We decided to set off into the forests, in search of adventure. As you know it rained a lot today, and we were caught in the rain. We dealt with the rain fine, until a storm started. Now, you may think it rather stupid of my fear of storms..." Munan told them before being interupted. "Not at all Munan, why I hate the loud noises and the sudden flashes, it's enough to make anyone jump, even a brave adventurer" Iblin exclaimed trying to make Munan feel less stupid. "No, no, my fear isn't like that. The lights and noise don't make me jump or scare me, it's an actual storm?" Munan explained. "Mind me askin why ye be scared of a storm?" Gloin asked as he looked at Munan, raising an eyebrow slightly. "Well my half-halfling half brother..." Munan began "Yer wat?" Gloin interrupted making sure he'd heard right. "My father was Durgrim the daring, you may have heard of him?" Munan said as he looked at the dwarves, hoping they had "Aye, weve heard of him" Gloin answered as he nodded. "Right, well my half-halfling half brother was killed in a storm, when we were young and I was outside with him" Munan continued "Ye poor thing, must hav bin quite traumatic fer ye" Gloin said now understanding the fear more. "Well when we were in the forest, we reached the bottom of a mountain. A tree was struck by lightning and sent a rock rolling towards me, luckily it suddenly turned, just missing me. But as the rock landed with a large thud, the tree followed it, though trapped me. I'm guessing my fellow adventurers thought me to be dead, and so left. I found my way back to Vardamir and was offered to stay here in return for finding your family heirloom" Munan finished. "Aye, and i beleive yer wil find it." Gloin said positively. "Me great, great grandfathers greataxe" He explained as he headed towards a shelf. He pulled down a picture and showed it to Munan. "That's a picture of him with the greataxe" Iblin explained as Munan looked at the picture. It showed a dwarf that looked quite a lot like Gloin carrying a greataxe. "I was named after him, so me dad gave tha greataxe ta me instead of our other brother" Gloin explained. as he placed the picture back on the shelf. "It became a tradition to name a son after me great great grandfather. So it was me great grandfathers name, and me grandfathers and me dads, now i've bin given it ta continue" Gloin added.

"Well, i'lll see ye later, Iblin, Munan" Gloin called as he headed out of the door. "Yes, bye" Munan answered. "See you later" Iblin called back as she headed into the kitchen to find snacks. "Well I'm going to go upstairs and wash now, if you don't mind" Munan replied as he headed up the stairs. "Not at all, Gloin said you could" Iblin smiled as she settled down on a chair with some more food in her hands. Munan nodded as he headed up the stairs and walked towards the washroom he'd been told about. He opened the door and looked around. A while later, a much cleaner Munan walked back out of the washroom. He closed the door behind him and headed back inside the guest room he'd been given. He closed the door behind him and yawned as he sat down on his bed and looked out of the window again. He lay down on the bed, pulling the covers out from underneath him and letting them fall back down onto him. He yawned again as he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Munan opened his eyes and shot up in his bed. He blinked a few times and rubbed his eyes, as he slowly tok deep breaths. "It was only a nightmare, Munan" He told himself as he slowly placed his head back down on the pillow and stared at the ceiling of the currently dark room. "You'll be fine" He added as he closed his eyes and tried to get back to sleep. The nightmare kept coming back into his mind though. A terrible death awaited him on a mountain. His family stood around him as they watched him set of up the tall mountain, on some sort of adventure. Out of no where the blue skies turned grey and cloudy as the booming sound of thunder and splashing sound of rain filled the air, accompainied by lighting. The lightning shot straight at him. Causing him to fall, and a rock and tree to land on him. Slowly he drifted back into a light sleep, fidgeting quite a bit too, the nightmare still playing slightly. Light soon began to flood into the room as the sun rose into the sky. Munan's eyes flickered slightly as they adjusted to the light. He yawned as he got out, still attempting to push the nightmare to the back of his mind, hoping that his adventure wouldn't be on a mountain. 'I'll set off onto my adventure today' Munan thought as he climbed out of the bed. He began to straighten out the bed covers, but he'd never had any luck in sorting them out completely. "I thought i heard somthing, brekfast's ready. You go get it, i'll sort out the bed" Iblin said as her head peered around the corner "If you're sure. Thank you" Munan answered as he walked down the stairs to find Gloin placing food on the table again.
