"ok" Munan simply said as he hurried up, trying to keep up with the larger steps of the other two. He was glad when they reached the base of the mountain, it meant they were nearer to the cave, and shelter. "Up here right" Munan said, though didn't really wait for an answer as he hurried up the mountain. He suddenly jumped as a blot of lightning hit the mountain. This caused a tree to fall and send a rock speeding down the mountain towards Munan.

"AHHHHH" Munan yelled as the rock came towards him. It suddenly flew into the air as if it had come from a ramp and had wheels. It turned slightly and skimmed his side as it landed beside him. "That was close..." He began before the tree began to roll down from the thud of the rock landing. This time Munan wasn't so lucky, and the tree headed straight for him and landed.

Munan's deep breathing could be heard as silence came. By the sounds of things the orcs had left, and so had his friends. Slowly he tried to wriggle out from underneath the trees clutches, and the death he narrowly escaped. He saw another tree nearby, and grabbed hold of the root nearby it, though his hand slipped, from the wet mud over it and the water on the roots. He sighed wishing he'd be able to draw his weapon and use that to pull himself out. Munan peered up through the trees and at the rain puring down. He sighed hoping the storm would at least stop, but he suddenly looked back up at the sky as a bolt of lighting crashed down into the forest, striking the tree on Munan. Munan slowly turned his head to look at the tree and let out a sigh of relief seeing it had only split the tree, meaning he'd be able to get out. Slowly he got to his feet, breaking the little partsof the tree that were still together. Munan looked around the forest warily. He had no idea which direction the orcs had gone in, or any idea which way to go. His memory came in handy, as he remembered the way out of the thick trees that surrounded him. He turned as walked at a brisk pace, hoping to reach a town by nightfall. Though he wanted an adventure, he wasn't keen in spending the night in a storm that had nearly cost him his life, twice.

Munan continued to walk at the quick pace, and smiled as he saw the trees begin to thin out. "Looks like i remembered the path back to Vardamir fairly well" He said to himself then looked at the sky, also glad to see that though it was quickly drawing night, the storm had completely stopped and the rain was slowly coming to an end. He followed the path out of the forest and soon came to another, one he remembered quite well to be the one that had led Ember, Ravenesence and himself from Vardamir and into the forest.
